Hopkins Youth Hockey Association (HYHA) operates within District 3 Hockey in accordance with D3, Minnesota Hockey and USA Hockey rules, regulations and guidelines with the objectives of:

• Creating a positive developmental experience for all participants; including players, coaches and parents
• Emphasizing individual skill development over team performance
• Building individual skill sets necessary for optimal team performance
• Enabling a developmental relationship between HYHA, the Hopkins Boys and Hopkins/Park Girls High School hockey programs
• Promoting teamwork, good sportsmanship and fair play
